Oregon Winter Games information 2014

BIG Update – Please Read all the following information about Registration, Minimum Movement Standards, etc. As always, fire away with questions in comments.

Dates are Jan 18th and 19th.

Due to a smaller venue, this won’t be our largest event. We plan to get Registration opened this weekend (Dec 7th) on GarageGames for the following divisions (with number of people that we will take in each division):

Scaled Men: 30
RX Men: 30
RX Men’s Teams: 15 teams of 2 = 30 people
Yeti: 16
Masters 40+: 15, we will have a column on the score-sheet showing which age group each Masters athlete falls into (40-44, 45-49, etc.)

Scaled Women: 30
RX Women: 30
RX Women Teams: 15 teams of 2 = 30 people
Women’s Yeti: 8 – If we get 8 women, we will host this category, if not, we will try to allow for a few more scaled women.
Masters 40+: 15, we will have a column on the score-sheet showing which age group each Masters athlete falls into (40-44, 45-49, etc.)

Minimum Movement Requirements – Listing out movements/weights that should be expected, obviously we didn’t list everything, such as running/rowing which should be anticipated for anyone competing in the “sport of fitness”:

Rx: Both Teams(at least 1 person on the team) and Individual competitors must be able to: Snatch 135/95, Clean and Jerk 135/95, Deadlift 275/185, Bar/Ring Muscle Up, 20/14# Wall Ball, HSPU, DU and other standard RX movements

Scaled: Hand release push ups, Deadlift 185/135, Clean 95/65, Back or Front Squat 95/65, Thruster 65/45 and Toes to Bar (T2B) – T2B would NOT be in high numbers of reps

Yeti: DL 315/225, Clean and Jerk 225/135, Dead Hang Pull up, Backsquat 315/205, Be familiar with KB Clean&Jerk, KB Snatch at 53/35, Farmers carry 95/65 in each hand

Masters: You all seem to know the drill, but be able to complete ALL of the Scaled Movements/Weights, with possibly a bit more weight or higher reps than Scaled and ALSO be able to do Pullups, Double Unders, more RX type movements, within reason.
